The question being: "Shall HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 5 Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to initiative and referendum petitions, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: HJR 5 Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 17 NAYS: 3 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bunde, Cowdery, Dyson, Elton, Green, Guess, Hoffman, Lincoln, Ogan, Olson, Seekins, Stedman, Stevens B, Stevens G, Therriault, Wagoner, Wilken Nays: Davis, Ellis, French 2004-05-08 Senate Journal Page 3495 and so, HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 5 passed the Senate. Senators Ogan, Green, Gary Stevens, Wagoner, Seekins, Therriault moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Ellis gave notice of reconsideration.
